mrs. loomis' BIO

Priscilla joined  The Woodhall School in May 2021. Originally from Long Island then the New York City area, she earned a B.S in Special Education from the University of Hartford, and worked in education briefly. She then earned an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Hartford and enjoyed a career in finance and banking in New York and Connecticut. Growing up she spent her summers on Bantam Lake,  then when married moved permanently  to Litchfield County, and her two sons attended area independent schools, Washington Montessori School and South Kent School. She again changed career paths, serving as Director of Development at the South Kent School, prior to joining Woodhall. Priscilla has volunteered extensively in fundraising for various non-profit organizations in Litchfield County. She and her husband reside on Bantam Lake in nearby Morris, with their Great Pyrenees, Carleigh. In her spare time, Priscilla enjoys traveling, spending time with family, gardening and taking long walks with her dog.
