At The Woodhall School, academically talented young men discover a school designed to defy the challenges they have faced in traditional school environments. Our individualized approach supports skill development in executive function and analytical and synthetical reasoning through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic teaching strategies.

Our size is our strength. Small class sizes of 2-5 students and structured study hall time value students’ understanding of the learning process. They learn how not what to learn. Each student works closely with his teacher and classmates. Teachers explore and implement strategies to promote student success.

Our academic program is intended for the unconventional learner – the student who defies categorization. Woodhall meets a student where he is, enabling him to learn in and out of the classroom at his own pace. Our Academic Program provides scaffolding to support students’ executive functioning while still challenging their intellectual curiosity. Learning styles are identified, acknowledged, and incorporated as students are assessed by faculty and tackle coursework assignments tailored to meet their specific needs.

All athletes must follow The Woodhall School Athletic Code of Conduct. Respect for coaches, teammates, athletes of other teams, and officials, is the benchmark for The Woodhall School Athletic Program. This approach demands integrity and accountability.

Students grow as scholars and individuals as they realize their potential, gain the respect and friendship of their peers, and understand the need for personal accountability in all aspects of their lives.
