mrs. Manosalva Yunge
Ana Maria Manosalva Yunge, or Chef Anita, as the Gentlemen of Woodhall fondly call her, is originally from Chile. She studied aquaculture engineering and then went on to start a chef-owned and operated restaurant in her home country. In addition, she studied at the School Ritz-Escoffier in Paris, France. For many years, she traveled the world as a private chef on yachts. She moved to Bethlehem with her husband, Tom, when their daughter was born in 2007. She then worked in several restaurants in Litchfield County and continued to serve as a private chef. She joined The Woodhall School in 2013 as the Weekend Chef. In 2023, she became the Head Chef and Food Service Manager, preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our school community.
