Mr. Mahoney's BIO

Mr. Alden Mahoney was raised in Granby, Connecticut and graduated from Loomis Chaffee School, before earning his BA in English at Boston University. Upon completion of his degree, he moved to Wittmund, Germany where he worked as a farmhand on an organic sheep farm and developed his fluency in German. Alden then moved to Hanoi, Vietnam where he taught English for three years before returning to the US. He teaches English, lives in Tower Dorm, where he serves as a dorm parent, and he coaches wrestling and lacrosse. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, hiking, woodworking, canoeing, music, and travel.
