mr. Terry's BIO

Aaron Terry joins The Woodhall School community having spent over 16 years in Hawaii where he was born, served in the US Army, and pursued his undergraduate and graduate degree, and taught in the public schools. He earned his B.A. in History and then his M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Hawaii Pacific University. While Aaron was born in Hawaii, he spent his formative years in Georgia and Florida. He served ten years in the United States Army, where he specialized in Satellite Communications, and he also was awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, which "recognizes those members of the military who perform substantial volunteer service to the local community above and beyond the duties required as a member of the United States Armed Forces." He has studied extensively both social justice and mindful practices. Aaron teaches history, coaches wrestling and lacrosse, and serves as a dorm parent in Tower Dorm.
