Support The Woodhall School

December 15th, 2020

To The Woodhall School Community:

The Woodhall School matters . . .

I am reminded of this even more so during this unprecedented school year. I am most grateful that the Gentlemen of Woodhall have been able to gather in person and on campus with their adult mentors. We are learning and growing as a community, striving to live and act by the school’s core values of integrity, compassion, and respect; and, as we face these challenging times, we embrace compassion, above all.

Every Gentlemen of Woodhall matters . . .

I am compelled by the stories of alumni and their families, whether from the Class of 1987 or 2017, about how Woodhall made a lasting difference in their lives. “Woodhall saved my life.” “Woodhall gave us back our son.” “Without the many chances that Woodhall gave me, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” Alumni remember the love (sometimes tough love) they received, the faith in them and their abilities, and the knowledge and belief that they matter.

Your support matters . . .

This year, we will be completing the new mathematics wing and STEM Lab because of your past, current, and future support. Yet, we still need your help. We need to reimagine the remaining learning spaces on campus in order to realize the full impact of Woodhall’s hallmark individualized pedagogy and to remain competitive with our peer schools.

The Phoenix Fund matters . . .

When you give to the Phoenix Fund, you have an immediate and personal impact on the lives of students and teachers at the school. The need for the transformative school experience that Woodhall provides is more profound than ever. Please consider a gift in support of The Phoenix Fund. You can make contribution through the mail or donate at www.woodhallschool.org We count on your gift, and your gift counts.

You matter . . .

Whether you’re an alumnus, current or alumni family, or friend of the school, I want to hear from you. I want to hear your story. I want to know how Woodhall has helped you and to share with you how you can help Woodhall.

Please reach out to me at 203-409-2644 or [email protected]

I hope that we will have the opportunity to connect soon – physically distanced, of course, during these times – somewhat apart, yet always together.

Go Phoenix!

With gratitude,

Matthew C. Woodhall
