Martin Luther King Jr. Day at The Woodhall School is done differently. Here the boys and the faculty spend the days in workshops that explore not only the life of Dr. King but also the struggles of many different iconic people of color and how they worked to teach us to see beyond the color of a persons skin. This year we welcomed the guest speaker Nyle Fort to speak to the boys about race and racism in America. Nyle educated the community on the history behind some of Dr. King’s famous moments and shared personal stories to help us truly understand that although we have made progress, we have to keep working to combat racism in our country.
